Besi lives in the capital city but had never attended school before joining VT Albania in 2022. In need of physical therapy and beginning his academic career, Besi has thrived in community. His laugh is infectious and we've been blessed by his presence with us!

Fati lives in a nearby but semi-remote village. Fati had been passed along in his classes in the high school he attended as there are little resources for those with autism before coming to VT Albania. Fati has a servant's heart and cares deeply for his new friends.

Flori lives in a nearby village near VT Albania's center. Flori is autistic and had never been to school before attending VT at the age of 18. Since attending VT, Flori has learned to read and write and loves to spend his free time playing soccer with other students.

Dhurata lives in a nearby village and has been a part of our community since the spring of 2022. Devoted to the Lord and always practicing gratitude for His provision, she has been a source of light and hope for our younger students to see her perseverance.

Gerti has attended VT Albania since the spring of 2023. Having never attended school before he turned 23, Gerti has been learning how to write the alphabet and identify his colors. When not in school during breaks, he asks when he can return and resume his lessons.

Lisjana is the cheerleader for VT Albania! She never misses a day and has a hunger to learn and grow closer to Jesus. From anger, timidity, and zero self-confidence, Lisjana has blossomed into a grounded woman of faith. She dreams to be a physical therapist one day.

Merita lives in a nearby village has been a part of our community since the spring of 2022. Devoted to the Lord and always practicing gratitude for His provision, she has been a source of light and hope for our younger students to see her perseverance.

Xhesi comes from a remote village on the other side of Tirana. Her scoliosis was the worst case her doctor in the States had ever seen. However, this does not deter Xhesi from expressing her deep love and care for others as well as hinder her passion to dance!

Sabina has attended VT since 2015 with her sister, Sara. Despite the challenges at home, Sabina exudes joy and a love of hugs. Without attending VT, she would spend her days mostly inside and isolated. We are grateful to be in community with Sabina!
